 Wind Energy comes to Pundles

The first turn of the turbine blades took place on 28 April 2006 following a day of glorious sunshine for the final stages of the work. The light breeze that had been barely noticeable throughout the day was from the start producing around 1kW of sustainable power. Proven Energy Ltd. manufactures one of the worlds most robust and reliable wind turbine systems - just what Pundles needs! Based on 10-years worth of initial research and design, the turbines have been enhanced and refined over the years.

The structure is slim and unobtrusive with no significant noise level. Developing a system that can run through hurricane force winds and not stop producing power is no mean feat. The system works with nature and not against it like upwind turbines with the result that you can get the most out of even the severest of winds.

Proven have installed over 700 wind turbine systems in over 30 countries world-wide. The turbine sits 15m high and can generate 6 kW of renewable energy. Check out the details at www.provenenergy.co.uk .

UK Leo Stud Book

Rob Sevastopulo's site www.leonbergerstudbook.co.uk provides up-to-date, accurate information on the pedigree of Leonberger's in the UK. Click here for Jenga's litter - he's Graceanna Ahlenat - should have been Ahlenai but the Kennel Club printed it wrong! This is a really useful and user-friendly resource.
