The Jenga Diaries

The Gang all turned up at Midge’s today to bring me home. Was a bit of a squeeze getting in the back of the car cos it was sooo full of stuff, but I eased meself in. Only problem was stuff kept falling on top of me, Boss kept telling me to lay down as he couldn’t see out the back of the car, I just looked round and couldn’t see how I could! He stopped and apolgised when he saw me predicament.

Nice to be back home with all me creature comforts. Lovely time at Midge’s though and lots of nice memories ... Rika Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

Me feet hardly landed back home when we’s off again! But dis time it’s to see John again and all the cool guys at the hospital.

Boss says me op went well. John really pleased with me. Must admit seems lot more straightforward this time. No big fluidy swellings and a sensible stitch or two – none of them big staple things which I thought was bit of a liberty. Must admit, feelin much improved.

The neck’s healing well. Been down to see Eddie and he took me stitches out.

Me first walk in a while. Up round the country park on the walk I used to do regular. Gotta a bit breathless.

Gotta keep a big lolloping pink tongue out for all to see. That way they all knows I is OK.

A day in the fresh air. Nat playing a big rugby tournament with his school mates. His team’s pretty impressive, five straight match wins and only concedes two goaly things – tries I think he said they’re called but should be succeededs if you ask me cos they made it – anyway made it to final, but think he was pretty knacked by then so they came runners up. Funny though cos I didn’t see ‘em running up anywhere? Strange game rugby.
